Volunteered as rural health physician for the remote barrios of Tagaytay in collaboration with the parish church. Project Health, a center for the training of community health workers, and an out-patient clinic, was established during this time. Worked in coordination with the City Health Officer, the Medicare Hospital Director, local government officials of Tagaytay, and the Provincial Health Officer of Cavite.
